The ABC hit drama Nashville, follows the exploits and tenuous relationship of aging Country star, Rayna James (played by Connie Britton), and budding teen sensation, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) who have been forced by their record label to go out on tour together in order to help boost the lackluster sales of Rayna's latest album and, at the same time, help Juliette gain some cred among Country music fans.

 

Now, I'm thinking that the producers of Nashville are trying to gain a little cred for the show itself by recruiting a couple actual legit Country stars to be a part of storyline. So, Chris Young and Brantley will be appearing as themselves in an upcoming episode airing on Wednesday night, January 23rd at 10 PM.
