Danielle Bradberry Wins 'The Voice' Season 4

Jun 19, 2013 -- 12:27pm

Blake Shelton’s 16-year-old (country singer) Danielle Bradbery from Cypress, Texas, won season four of NBC’s singing competition The Voice on Tuesday nights finale, winning the viewer vote over the other two finalists: Ushers contestant Michelle Chamuel, 26, who came in second and Blake’s the Swon Brothers, Colton, 24, and Zach, 27 in third. The victory by Bradbery, marks the second female and the youngest singer to win The Voice, and she also represents the third triumph in four seasons for coach Blake Shelton's team. After the announcement was made Bradbery told host Carson Daly that she was thankful but at that moment she was speechless. Danielle had performed Sara Evans' ‘Born to Fly’ on Monday's competition finale, and had a hard time trying to perform it before closing the show Tuesday night. Shortly after her victory Bradbery described what it was like in the last moments before being announced as the winner of The Voice season 4, "Me and Michelle were holding onto each other, shaking," she said on the post-finale red carpet. "When I heard my name, I could not believe it. It's going to take a while to sink in, but I'm just embracing the moment while it's here." Check out some of last night’s performances!!
