Jana Kramer Gives Fiancé Brantley Gilbert An Surprising Nickname

When it comes to planning his wedding with Jana Kramer, Brantley Gilbert is committed. So much so that his bride-to-be has dubbed him "Groomzilla!" Not something you'd expect from a guy so seemingly rough around the edges. But he's totally involved, talking to planners, hiring the band and arranging the fireworks for the reception for starters.
 
It is, for the most part, going very smoothly. Except the day the happy couple were scouting locations for the ceremony. They were in his car behind a group of planners who were, apparently, not moving quickly enough.
 
“I was supposed to be following them, and they were driving, like, 30, and dude, I just can’t work with that,” Brantley recalls. “I was at home in Georgia, and I know all those roads and they were getting lost. And finally, I was just like, ‘To hell with it.’ I passed ‘em, and I met ‘em there. I was like, ‘Y’all just meet us at the place. Y’all got GPS.’”
 
That's when Jana gave him his new nickname. "Groomzilla."
 
Just wondering if Brantley's buds are giving him a hard time about it...

Florida Georgia Line "Cruise" To The Top Of The Charts For The 3rd Time!

The first time Florida Georgia Line's hit single "Cruise" reached the coveted Number One spot on the Billboard Country charts it was just before Christmas in 2012.  It stayed there for 3 weeks until it it sllipped to #2 behind "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift. But, one week later, "Cruise" reclaimed the top spot and stayed there for two more weeks.  Then it dropped back to the middle of the pack.

Niow, amazingly, three months later, the song is back at Number One for a third time!  Not only that, but they've also got another hit single in the Top Ten--"Get Your Shine On."  Congrats to Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard on their awesome accomplishment.

With Valentine's Day upon us, Country Weekly magazine published what they consider the top 10 couples in Country Music.  It comes as no surprise that the coveted number one position was given to George Strait and his lovely wife Norma who celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on December 4th.  That's quite an achievement for any marriage much less a show biz husband and wife.  Check out which couples round out the top 10.

Tim McGraw Helps Out In An Ellen Prank

So, it was only natural for Ellen Degeneres (another legendary prankster) to employ Tim's help on her show recently in pulling this practical joke on an unsuspecting guitar tech. As you might expect, hilarity ensued. Watch the video... 
 
 

Applebee's Waitress Gets Fired For A Reddit Post

Chelsea Welch was a waitress at a St. Louis area Applebee's and was serving a party of about 20 diners who decided to get separate checks. Now, it's Applebee's policy that if there are more than 8 people in a group, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. There is also a space for an additional tip if the patron would like to show a little more appreciation for the service.
 
So, when Chelsea collected the receipts she was taken quite by surprise by what was written on one of them. First, the amount of the automatic gratuity was scratched out and the words "I give God 10%, why do you get 18?" Not only that, there was a large emphatic "0" scrawled on the additional tip line. At the bottom was the signature of a woman named Alois Bell, who apparently is a pastor at the local Truth in the World Deliverance Ministries Church.
 
Thinking surely this must be some kind of joke, Ms. Welch took a photo of the check and then posted it on Reddit. And that was that, right?
 
Not quite.
 
Once the good reverend was made aware of the post, she immediately complained to Applebee's management who, in turn, immediately fired the waitress.
 
Afterward, the restaurant released the following statement: "Our Guests’ personal information – including their meal check – is private, and neither Applebee’s nor its franchisees have a right to share this information publicly. We value our Guests’ trust above all else. Our franchisee has apologized to the Guest and has taken disciplinary action with the Team Member for violating their Guest’s right to privacy. This individual is no longer employed by the franchisee."
 
O.K. maybe Chelsea should have cropped out the signature before putting it up on the Internet for all to see. But, come on, man! Did she really deserve to lose her job over it? Besides, if Pastor Bell is going resort to such an un-Christian insult, she should own it. And everyone should be aware of her hypocrisy.
 
Meanwhile, the former Applebee's employee is looking for another job to help pay her way through college. "Hopefully I can find a job that pays more than $3.50/hr,” she says. “Or where people are willing to tip well.”
