FL ranked #1 State for Fraud in U.S

The sunshine state has reportedly been ranked the No.1 state when it comes to fraud in the U.S.

According to the 2017 Consumer Sentinel Network Data Book, Florida is ranked first in the nation with 993 fraud reports per 100,000 in population.

At least 20% of Floridian fraud victims reported a loss of money, totaling to $54.7 million.

Debt collection scored the No.1 spot for the most reported schemes, followed by identity theft and imposter scams.
