Authorities have arrested a 38-year-old Florida man who they punched a two-year-old in the head. The incident occurred Saturday in DeLand, Florida.
According to the report, Josue Rosario got mad at a young girl who was playing with the two-year-old boy in the kitchen and making him laugh. Rosario began yelling at the girl and at one point told her that he “was going to break her teeth.” He then told his wife to hit the young girl which prompted an argument between Rosario and his wife.
Rosario then began trying to strangle, punch, and push his wife. That’s when the two-year-old jumped into the fight to help his mother. Rosario then punched the child in the head to ” get him out of the way.” The 38-year-old then picked up a knife and threatened to kill his wife.
The wife ran and hidden in the bathroom with the two children and called police.
Rosario was arrested on charges of child-infliction of physical injury, battery, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He remains in custody on a $15,000 bond.
